''As many of us did not expect the graduating class of 2020 to end this way, the Rockford Promise Scholarship has brightened my future. It has taken off a financial burden as I work towards my Associate’s degree. I will continue to work hard towards achieving excellent grades and graduating with my Associate's degree, thanks to the Rockford Promise scholarship. I look forward to furthering my education, knowing that I will have a huge impact in the Rockford area. I intend to graduate college with a BSN in oncology, in which I will use to give back and show my appreciation towards my community.''
