''I think most kids in high school have this underlying anxiety of having to go to college and the cost that comes with that. But the Rockford Promise scholarship has taken a lot of the stress and worry that comes with this transitional period of my life away. I now know that I’m going to a great school, with most of it being paid for, with a group of kids I already have something in common with. That makes me feel like I’m apart of a community of people who will always be there to help one another.''
