''Being selected as a Rockford Promise recipient is so impactful for me because it means that I can attend college without having to stress about finances and having to pay loans in the future. It's enabled me to have a much clearer path towards my goals and it really takes a huge burden off of me knowing I received the scholarship. I want to thank all of the donors for helping me in my college journey, and giving me the opportunity to give back to this community through becoming an educator.''
