I can focus less on how I am going to pay for this and more about getting the skills I need to succeed in my life. It also allows me to be the first in my immediate family to go to college, and that’s saying something all by itself. Without the Rockford Promise, I would have no way of paying for college without taking out a huge loan and going into debt. I can finally achieve my dreams without worrying about anything other than my grades.''
