Raise The Roof raises more than $20k
The Fifth Annual Raise The Roof celebration, which took place at Rock Valley College on Sept. 16, drew 170 guests and raised $20,975 for Rockford Promise.
Of that total, $6,834 was raised from the guests during the event.
Rockford Promise is very thankful for everyone who chose our event on what was a packed Rockford weekend. We also are extremely grateful for the companies who helped make the night a success. Those include our corporate sponsors – Rockford University, Northern Illinois University, Elite Fastener, Midwest Packaging, Trotter Manufacturing, Meemic Insurance, and the Rockford Education – and the food vendors, Olivo Taco, Olive Branch and Bacon Me Crazy.
We’d also like to congratulate the winners of our second annual Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament, Christina Fredrick and Linda Fennestead.
